Good day to you all!
I have a heffer of blog for you today as instead of splitting this into christmas gifts and shopping bits I thought it would be easier to combine the two! Especially since they would be very odd length posts as there is a lot that were gifts and only a few bits that I brought. Links are all in the picture captions! Also, apologies for the photography, the sun did not want to cooperate but I hope these are not too blurry or dark!
First up is my new perfume, Dolce by Dolce and Gabbana. I have been a sucker for keeping to one scent and never straying from it! And this has always been the Blooming Bouquet scent from Miss Dior. But this perfume has got a smell that I have never smelt before. It definitely has the floral notes to it but it has some more woody tones underneath! Officially it has Neroli leaves, Papaya flower, White Amaryllis, White Daffodil, White Water Lily and underneath it has Cashmeran and Sandlewood! It's such a beautiful scent and would recommend it for anyone looking for a fresh floral perfume! I have to 75ml Eau de Parfum which comes in at £72.50 but you can get the smaller bottles too! PS, ignore Joey Graceffa's face in the background!

These two new products came in a massive trunk set of Soap and Glory products and I was pleasantly suprised to see two beauty products amongst the thrall of body washes and moisturisers! It came with the Thick and Fast Mascara and the Sexy Mother Pucker in Charm Offensive. The links below are for the separate products but the whole trunk is available at some Boots now with something like seventy percent off! Which is an amazing deal! Separately they come in at £10 for the mascara and £7 for the lipgloss. The mascara does exactly what is says on the tin, gives you lengthened and thicker lashes from the first coat! Very impressed with this for an everyday use. The lipgloss is extremely pigmented and the shade I have is a lovely deep nude which has been seen around lately amongst the blogosphere. It stays around for a very long time but that goes hand in hand with being very tacky. If you can put up with that then go ahead, I can and I love it and can't wait to try out different shades!

Sorry I don't have any separate photos of the pallet but I will explain as best as I can! This is the bits that I got in the Selfridges sale, well I say sale, only one item was discounted so was a bit of a fail! But none the less the best one was discounted so I am claiming that as a success! I this little haul I purchased a Mac eyeliner in coffee which was £14. This is the perfect brown shade for me that keeps any look natural without having harsh blacks in the look. The palette is an Illamasqua Multi Face Palette. This was an amazing deal at £22.50 reduced from £45. The palette does come in two shades, Aura and Semblance. This is the lighter of the two, Aura and comes with a highlighter cream, contour cream, brow shadow, a blush and four eyeshadow shades that are designed to be used together. The highlighter shade is called Aurora and is a beautiful pearly colour and applies quite sheer but leaves enough payoff to be noticeable in the light. The blush shade is in Tremble and is a beautiful baby pink and becomes a very natural flush shade when on the cheeks. The contour cream is in Hollow and I am yet to have an opinion on this since I don't really contour. The brow shadow is the perfect shade for me and is in Thunder and cannot be happier about this since I haven't owned a shade brown enough to go on my brows! The four shadow shades are as follows; Vision, a bright white shimmer for the inside corner, Servant, a beautiful salmon shade for the whole lid, Feint, my favourite of the lot and is a lovely plum colour for the outside 'v' and finally, Machine, a shimmery black to line with for a smokey look! Love this palette and even if you don't want to use a few of the products the sizes of the samples are very reasonable and well worth the £22.50!

These are my favourite bits of the palette, including (in order) Tremble blush, Servant eyeshadow, Feint eyeshadow and Aurora highlighter.
Any of you who follow me on twitter will know that I have been lusting over this lipstick for ages and I finally plucked up the courage to go out and buy it! It is the Charlotte Tilbury M.A.T.T.E Revolution in Love Liberty and this was £23. The finish is beautiful but I would recommend you apply it to well moisturised and exfoliated lips as you will see every touch of dry skin otherwise! The colour is a lovely in between of berry and pink tones and suites my skin tone perfectly! Can't think of much more to say about this except go out and get it! Its a lovely product and and beautiful packaging... mmmm rose gold :)
Back to christmas gifts and this is another item I was lusting over for ages and my lovely mumma bought it for me! It is the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette! I brought my mum the second palette in the series and I am going to be biased and say this is much nicer! What appeals to me with this palette is the fact it is lighter than its predecessors. Its got a lovely mix of matte shades and shimmers and I use all equally and couldn't possibly pick a favourite! The brush is also very good and i use that to blend as its nice and fluffy! The palette also came with 7 day samples of all of the primers so will do a post on those when I have used them all up!
I was utterly spoilt this year and was gifted a lot of Michael Kors jewellery to match my watch that I brought a couple months back. The earrings I did get for my birthday but the rest were from an assortment of family members! Of course it is all in the rose gold as I am loving it right now and the pieces are a lovely mixture of bold and delicate! There is something for everyone in the Michael Kors range regardless of whether you have a watch or not! The jewellery range is lovely and highly recommend it for something different but still ornate and delicate!
The last pieces on this post are all GHD products that I got for christmas! I received the GHD soft curling iron and have not put it away since I got it! It gives me really soft curls that last all day! I have been curling using my GHD straight iron and haven't ever really been a fan of the curl it gives me. I have quite heavy hair so have been used to my curl falling out but the iron doesn't seem to have that effect which is amazing! I use it with the GHD curl hold spray and if I'm looking for super soft curls I will run the GHD barrel brush along them too. I cannot rave about the new curling range at GHD enough and have heard rave reviews about all four different tongs and irons that they have released! What I love about the tong is that if I am in a rush I can use it as a tong as well and it produces a nice curl like that too! And what can I say, I'm a sucker for rose gold packaging :)
Thank you guys for reading and let me know what your favourite christmas gifts or sale buys were and I hope you enjoyed mine! I am by no means showing off but since I have been given so many new things that I have never tried before I thought this would be informative to anyone looking to buy any of these products!
Love and hugs
A xx
